When the need for mask and personal protective equipment became a city-wide mandate in Los Angeles, I had a plan to help the first responders, front-line medical workers and civilians alike. With my 20+ years of experience in the apparel manufacturing, production and sales, I knew the amount of surplus product that was going to waste on a regular basis and within that Hats 4 Health was born. Taking surplus, unused hats and upcyling them into wearable, washable, reusable protective masks. I am asking for small donations to help fund manufacturing for this project, which is 100% made in LA. A $5-$10 donation will pay for one mask to be made and at the same time help put food on the table for those working in the factories downtown - or you may send your hat to the address below to have it transformed into YOUR mask!
